Strictly Come Dancing and Casualty favourite, Tom Chambers, is preparing to dance the night away as Birmingham Hippodrome welcomes the national tour of Crazy For You to its stage next week.

The acclaimed Watermill Theatre production, which will visit the city between Tuesday 24th and Saturday 28th October, also marks the stage debut of TV star, Caroline Flack, who plays ‘Irene’ opposite Charmbers' 'Bobby'. Best known to TV audiences for her star-turn on 'Strictly Come Dancing', Flack won the 12th season of the show in 2014. 

Tom Chambers created the role of Jerry Travers in the West End musical 'Top Hat' and was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical for the role. In 2008 he won the 6th season of 'Strictly Come Dancing' and can currently be seen in the hit BBC drama, 'Casualty'.

They will be joined by Charlotte Wakefield in the role of ‘Polly’. Wakefield made her West End debut as Wendla in 'Spring Awakening', for which she was nominated for an Olivier Award. She played ‘Maria’ in the critically acclaimed production of 'The Sound of Music' at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre receiving nominations for Best Actress in a Musical at both the Evening Standard and Olivier Awards. Her other theatre credits include Sophie in 'Mamma Mia!' in the West End, Truly Scrumptious in 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' and Laurey in 'Oklahoma!', both on national tour.
