We understand people will have concerns about Coronavirus. Please see below for national and local advice:
Black Country Radio is working with our partners at Dudley CVS who are co-ordinating the community response to COVID-19 across the Borough.
Dudley CVS are working with existing voluntary and community groups, and the volunteer centre, to connect people that need support to assets in their local community. They're working in partnership with Dudley Council, West Midlands Police, West Midlands Fire Service and the NHS over the coming weeks.
You should stay at home as much as possible, and only leave the house for the following reasons:
1. Going to shops which are permitted to be open
to collect things like food and medicine, or to collect online or telephone orders.
2. Unlimited amounts of exercise and recreation
for example sport or relaxation in local parks. This should be alone, or with members of your household and avoiding public transport.
3. A medical need
either for yourself or to provide care for, or to help to, a vulnerable person or to give blood.
4. Travel to or from work
but only where this absolutely essential and your work cannot be done from home.
The most effective way to combat the spread of the Virus is to regularly wash you hands. You should use antibacterial soap or hand wash and clean them frequently for at least 20 seconds.
Local borough councils have issued supplementary advice and updated information about the essential services they provide.
