Appeal after couple threatened in Dudley burglar

Detectives are appealing for information after a couple were threatened with a knife and a screwdriver during a burglary in Dudley.

Three men managed to get into the property in Prospect Road, Lower Gornal, at around 8pm on Tuesday 23 October.

They threatened the man and woman, both aged in their early 70s, before making off with jewellery, cash and other personal belongings. The couple were left unhurt but shaken by the incident. Det Sgt Leighton Shingles, from force CID, said:

"This was a terrifying experience for the couple. We are determined to find whoever was responsible and would ask for anyone who saw anything to contact us."
