Bewdley market set to open for the Bank Holiday weekend

Severnside North and South in Bewdley will be filled with stalls and entertainment for a spectacular two-day August Bank holiday event.

Stalls will be set up all along the Riverside with street food, artisan products, crafts and handmade items on offer. Some of the finest traders in the region will be joined by entertainment including Punch and Judy shows, birds of prey, live music and entertainment at the market which is organised by LSD Promotions. Director Linda McGillicuddy said:

"Bewdley is a beautiful setting and always popular particularly at weekends, this Bank Holiday will be one to remember, the event is expected to attract visitors from all over the region.

"We have a full line-up with amazing stalls and performers that will compliment all the existing bars, cafes, restaurants, and shops that the town has to offer. It is set to be to be a great Bank Holiday for the town."

Stalls will be open from 10am on both days and shows and performances will take place at various times over the two days. There are numerous car parks and the town centre is just a short walk from the Severn Valley Railway station.
