Big Name Comedians Visit Dudley Borough Halls In 2017

Top TV comic, Paul Chowdhry, will appear at Dudley Town Hall later this year as the newly branded Borough Halls try to enhance their offering to the region.

The popular stand-up, who has appeared on our screens in the likes of BBC’s 'Live At The Apollo' and 'Taskmaster' on Dave, is bringing his latest tour show, Live Innit, to the Dudley Council venue on Thursday 12th October. Tickets went on sale last week and are expected to be snapped up quickly.

It comes as it was also announced that political comedian Matt Forde, who hosts his own show Unspun on Dave, is to appear at Stourbridge Town Hall on Friday 27th October.

Forde, who has also appeared on 'Have I Got News For You' and 'Mock The Week', will be discussing Donald Trump and Brexit amongst other things in his latest show, titled 'It’s My Political Party (And I’ll Cry If I Want To)'. Dudley Council’s Alex Jackson, who is promoting the two shows, said:

“Paul Chowdhry is an electrifying live performer and I'm delighted he's chosen to bring his brand new stand-up show to Dudley Town Hall.

“I've been a long-time fan of Matt too and can't wait to welcome him to Stourbridge Town Hall. Matt is well-known for his excellent TV show and podcast, but his live shows are also fantastic. This will be an unmissable evening in the company of a hilarious and hugely engaging comedian.”

Tickets for Paul Chowdhry cost £20 plus booking fees and seats at Matt Forde's date are available for £15 plus booking fee. Both shows start at 8pm, with doors opening at 7:15pm.
