Retailers are preparing themselves for hundreds of shoppers wanting to spend in the post-Christmas sales!

Whilst Christmas tills weren't ringing as loudly as previous years, early predictions suggest spending during the Boxing Day Sales will be higher then 2014.

Shops around the Black Country are preparing to open their doors over the post Christmas weekend with sales at intu Merry Hill beginning on Saturday 26th December.

Doors open at 8.00am with stores open until 6.00pm December 26th, with Next opening at 6.00am and Debenhams at 7.00am.

Although some smaller stores remain closed, queues are expected to start to develop in the early hours of the morning.

The free Park and Ride service will recommence from Waterfront East, and run from 9.00am until 6.30pm on Boxing Day, and from 11.00am until 5.30pm on Sunday 27th.
