A cannabis factory, worth more than £400,000, has been discovered by police in Halesowen.

West Midlands Police were conducting local enquiries in the area on Tuesday evening, when they stumbled across the factory. The force's 'Cannabis Disposal Team' found 836 plants being cultivated across six rooms in a Halesowen house.

The electricity powering the factory had been abstracted illegally, so extensive work had to be carried out to make the building safe. No arrests have been made at this time.
