Castle cinema nights return to Dudley Zoo

Zoo bosses say they are 'really excited' to be bringing outdoor cinema nights back to the grounds of Dudley Castle this summer.

The attraction have teamed up with QUAD to screen a trio of great films over three nights this August, kicking off with The Greatest Showman on Thursday 5th August followed by Jurassic Park the following evening and concluding with The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday 7th August. Marketing Manager Andrea Hales, said:

“Our open-air cinema events have proved really popular in previous years and we’re delighted to be able to provide more great evenings of outdoor entertainment in the grounds of the 11th century castle this summer.

“We do urge those wanting tickets to book them quickly as from past experience these events sell out quickly and due to covid restrictions there will be a reduced capacity to normal.”

Doors open each evening at 7pm, with the film beginning at 9.30pm - filmgoers are advised the events will go ahead whatever the weather. There will also be hot food and a licensed bar available on site, but attendees are welcome to bring their own picnic, chairs and blankets.

Tickets cost £17.50 each and are available now on the Dudley Zoo website, where you can book for The Greatest ShowmanJurassic Park or The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
