CCTV images released after One Stop stores targeted by robbers

CCTV images have been released after robbers targeted two Black Country convenience stores.

Police were called to the One Stop store on Bourne Street, Dudley, at around 7.30pm on March 8 to reports that two masked men had stolen cigarettes and cash from the till.

Almost two weeks later, at around 8.50pm on March 20, another robbery took place at the One Stop store in Horseley Street, Tipton.

It’s understood that around 10 minutes earlier, two men entered the shop, wearing masks to cover their faces and took a small quantity of cash and a large box full of cigarettes.

One of the suspects is clearly seen on CCTV, wearing the same jacket at both locations, leading officers to link the two incidents.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said officer have been following numerous lines of enquiry - including forensics - and have now released CCTV in an attempt to locate those responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Benjamin Parsons by emailing b.parsons@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk or calling 101, using extension number 811 3101.
