Detectives have issued CCTV images of a suspect they want to speak to after a teenager was robbed after being followed off a bus in Gornal.

A 16-year-old boy got off the 257 bus on Dibdale Road at around 5.10pm on Thursday 25 February.

He was followed by the suspect who asked the teen if he could borrow his phone, before threatening he would hurt him if he didn’t hand it over. The teenager handed over the phone and then ran home and immediately contacted police.
