Discover Dudley’s attractions at intu MerryHill

An exhibition to showcase the borough’s top attractions and great days out will take place at intu MerryHill later this month.

The exhibition, organised by Dudley Council’s 'Discover Dudley' team, will be in the Main Square, next to the customer services desk on the lower mall on Saturday 12 May from 9am to 7pm.

Staff from the various attractions will be on hand to provide information and give ideas of places to visit and things to do in the borough this spring and summer. Attendees will also be able to get hands on experiences with ‘have a go’ craft sessions. Visitors to the exhibition will also be able to enter a free prize draw with a chance to win Afternoon Tea at Himley Hall and Park.

Stands include Discover Dudley, Dudley Museums Service, Black Country Global Geopark project, Adult and Community Learning, Ruskin Glass Centre, Black Country Living Museum and the Dudley Canal & Tunnel Trust. Alan Lunt, strategic director for place at Dudley Council, said:

“This is a fabulous opportunity for borough residents to come along to find out about the attractions on their doorstep.  There is just so much to see and do all year round.

You can go to the zoo to visit exotic animals, take a trip back in time at the Living Museum, create something unique at the Red House Glass Cone or view precious fossils at the museum. If you’re visiting Merry Hill on the 12 May, why not drop in, say hello and try something new.”
