Driver facing jail over death of Stourbridge motor cyclist

A Brierley Hill man’s been warned he could be jailed after he admitted causing the death of a Stourbridge motor cyclist by careless driving

Alan Holloway, of Adelaide Street, was remanded on bail for a pre-sentence report when he appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court.

The 57-year-old pleaded guilty to causing the death of 50-year-old nurse Christian Davies by driving without due care and attention in Pedmore Road, Brierley Hill, on June 30.

Mr Davies, who lived in Amblecote, had been riding his Honda bike on his way to work at Russells Hall Hospital.
