Driver failed to stop following Kidderminster crash

A man from Cookley has been charged after failing to stop following a crash in Kidderminster.

Matthew Dunphy, 34, of Castle Road, was arrested following the crash in Franche Road, in Kidderminster, at around 10.30pm on Saturday night (June 4).

Dunphy has now been charged with failing to stop after a road accident and failure to provide a specimen for analysis. He will appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Thursday, June 30.

Officers from West Mercia Police and a Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew attended the scene, and firefighters worked to contain a small fuel leak.
