A Quarry Bank driver who killed a man when he crashed into a wall in Netherton has been told he could be spending time in prison.

Jamie Wharton, of Birch Coppice, admitted causing the death of 23-year-old Timothy Pearson in June 2014, by driving without due care and attention.

Mr Pearson had been a passenger in a Nissan driven by 31 year-old Wharton when it crashed into a wall in St Peters Road.
