Drummers to bring the taiko beat to Dudley

The Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers will return to Dudley Town Hall next year in their landmark 25th year on the road.

The group is Europe’s longest established taiko group, using the ancient Japanese drums to put on a high-energy performance full of thrills and spills.

The show, Tribe 25, is suitable for all the family and is coming to the St James’s Road venue on Saturday May 18 next year. Tickets are now on sale. Alex Jackson, booker for Dudley Borough Halls, said:

"We're really excited to welcome the wonderful and ground-breaking Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers back to Dudley Town Hall with their brand new show.

"This will be a captivating and unmissable performance featuring sharp synchronisation, dramatic choreography and powerful rhythms on huge taiko drums.”

Doors for the show open at 6.45pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £20 for adults and £14 for children aged 16 and under. They are available online at boroughhalls.co.uk or by calling the box office on (01384) 812812.
