Dudley Building Society Launches 2016 Community Fund

Dudley Building Society launches their Community Support Fund this month for the third consecutive year.

Due to the overwhelming success of the Community Support Fund in recent years, the Society is offering two donations of £500 and five additional opportunities to receive £100. The chosen applicants will also receive support from the Society via joint Press and Social Media Support.

The Fund is aimed at supporting the local areas around the Society’s branches in Dudley, Gornal, Brierley Hill, Stourbridge, Kingswinford and Perton as part of the Society’s larger Community Strategy. This will see increased support of community events and volunteering opportunities within the next twelve months. Jeremy Wood, Chief Executive of Dudley Building Society said:

“The communities around our branches and Head Office are extremely important to everyone here at Dudley Building Society.  As a mutual organisation it is imperative we support others, the launch of this year’s fund for the third year running shows a continuous relationship to ensure the local communities are at the core of everything we do.

"Whether it is through education, fundraising or volunteering, we want to ensure we add value and really make a difference!”

The deadline for applications is 5.00pm on Friday 4th November 2016. Anyone wishing to apply for the fund can request an application form from one of the local branches or download an application by visiting dudleybuildingsociety.co.uk.
