Dudley Zoo appeal for house plants

Dudley Zoo and Castle is appealing to green fingered visitors to help spruce up its Discovery Centre by donating potted houseplants.

Staff are on the hunt for unwanted indoor plants of all shapes, sizes and varieties, both real and artificial, to help decorate its Rainforest Room. DZC Conservation Officer Chris Leeson said:

“Whether you’ve got houseplants at home that have maybe grown too big or you fancy a clear out, or even if you work at a business that could possibly donate some to us, we’d love to take them off your hands and put them towards our exciting plans for the Discovery Centre’s education rooms.”

Donations can be dropped off at the zoo entrance.
