Free Mental Health Forum event will explore the topic of coping with every day stress

Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is inviting the public to a free event that will explore the topic of stress.

The Mental Health Forum, which takes place quarterly, will explore how people can better manage every day stress. Professionals will be on hand to offer top tips, advice and more information on services for people experiencing stress.

Attendees will also hear user experiences and will be able to talk to local services during the networking lunch. The event is being held on Thursday 28 June, between 9.30am and 12noon, at Moxley People’s Centre in Wednesbury. Mark Axcell, Chief Executive at Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, said:

“Stress is something that most of us will experience at some point in our life, and sometimes it can have a detrimental effect on our physical and mental health. However, there are steps you can take to help you manage it and that’s why we are encouraging people to attend our next Mental Health Forum.”

Due to the increasing popularity of the forums, bookings are required. Please email dwmh.communication@nhs.net or call 01384 325015 to secure a place at this free event, or for more information.
