Armed Forces Day, in association with Forces Recruitment Services (FRS) will take place at Himley Hall & Park this Sunday (26 June) between 11am to 5pm.
Thousands of people attend this event every year to recognise the work of servicemen and women and is part of a national celebration and people are being encouraged to go along and enjoy a fabulous free day out for all the family in the beautiful surroundings of Himley Hall.
This year’s Armed Forces Day visitors are encouraged to share their photos on Dudley Council’s Flickr site.
There will be lots of opportunities to capture some great moments at this year’s event which is set to be the biggest and best to date with more than ever going on throughout the day.
A page on the Dudley Council’s Flickr page it will be available for people to upload their favourite photo memories of the day.
Councillor Mohammed Hanif, The Mayor of Dudley, said, “Armed Forces Day at Himley Hall and Park attracts thousands of people in celebration of the country’s armed forces each year.
“I am sure that people will be snapping away on the day with mobile phones and cameras of all descriptions. All contributions to our flickr page will be welcome. Just feel free to share your memories of your visit.”
