Visitors to Himley Hall and Park will be able to enjoy a smoother ride into the site, with work to repair the driveway being undertaken next month.

The hall and park will be closed throughout Tuesday 8 June for the essential maintenance work and people will not be allowed onto the site.

People will be able to access the hall and park as normal again on Wednesday 9 June. Councillor Simon Phipps, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said:

"I’d like thank people for understanding why we need to close Himley Hall and Park on 8 June. This important work will help us to maintain the driveway to the park for all our visitors."
