Katherine Ryan joins stellar Borough Halls line up

Top TV comedian Katherine Ryan is set to perform at Dudley Town Hall later this year.

The razor-sharp Canadian stand-up is currently dominating the UK television and live comedy scenes. She is also only the second British-based comedian to have a Netflix Original Comedy Special released globally.

Ryan's critically-acclaimed factual entertainment series How'd You Get So Rich? recently aired on Channel 4 and she is currently co-hosting the reboot of Your Face Or Mine with Jimmy Carr on Comedy Central and appearing as a team captain opposite Richard Osman in Channel 4’s Fake News.

Hot on the heels of two previous sell-out nationwide tours and various international comedy festival appearances, Ryan’s highly anticipated new tour show - entitled Glitter Room - comes to Dudley on Saturday 14 October. Alex Jackson, promoter and booker for Dudley Borough Halls, said:

“We’re absolutely delighted to confirm that Katherine will be bringing her brand new stand-up show to Dudley Town Hall in October. She is a familiar face on British TV but she's also an incredible live performer.

"I've had the privilege of seeing Katherine perform live on a number of occasions in the past and I can promise that this will be an unforgettable evening in the company of one of the finest stand-ups of her generation."

Katherine Ryan is just one of a number of big name comedians who will be performing at Dudley and Stourbridge Town Halls over the coming 12 months. They include Gary Delaney, Milton Jones, Paul Chowdhry, Matt Forde, Lee Nelson, Jethro, David Baddiel and Jason Manford.

Tickets for Katherine Ryan: Glitter Room will cost £19.50 plus booking fees and will be available from 10am on Friday 2 June at boroughhalls.co.uk or by calling the Box Office on 01384 812812.
