Kids take centre stage at Dudley museums this Summer

Parents are advised there is plenty to keep their juniors entertained at Dudley’s museums over the next six months.

'Juniors at Museums' provide a fun and creative programme of activities for children, their families and friends. Many activities are free of charge including enjoyable trails and the regular Sticky Saturdays. Other activities incur a small charge to cover the cost of the pastime, including glass themed sessions and family days.

People are also advised to book up in advanced for the ever popular Halloween and Christmas themed events. To find out a full list of activities between July and December download a copy of the Juniors at Museums leaflet at dudley.gov.uk. Cllr Ian Kettle, cabinet member for planning and economic development said:

“As a council we have so much going on for both children and adults across the borough.  The sessions offered cater for every taste and provide low cost entertainment where parents can enjoy quality time with their children while learning new skills.

“Where else can you participate in Stourbridge’s historical craft of glass art in a safe environment without breaking the bank?”

This year’s leaflet sees the launch of activities at the Dudley Archive building where regular sessions will be held from September.

To get a copy of the brochure simply download it from the Dudley Council website, or visit Dudley Council Plus, a local library or a Dudley attraction.
