Killer caught on camera DRIVING body to police station

This is how a killer was captured calmly parking up outside West Bromwich police station and taking officers to his victim - in the passenger seat of his car.

Sukhwinder Singh casually strolled into the front desk before pointing to where the body of brother-in-law Hamish Kumar had been next to him. He was sentenced to five years behind bars after admitting to manslaughter at an earlier Wolverhampton Crown Court hearing.

Before he starts the sentence, he will receive mental health treatment and after he serves the sentence, he will be deported to India.

The 41-year-old, of MacDonalds Close, Sandwell, had driven around Mr Kumar - who had a stab wound to the chest - for a number of hours before pulling up in front of the police station on the morning of 10 August last year. Singh had denied murdering the 39-year-old but following a period of psychiatric assessment he pleaded to guilty to manslaughter. Detective Inspector Harry Harrison, from West Midlands Police’s homicide team, said:

"This was an unusual case as Singh brought his victim to us; casually walking into the station to reveal Mr Kumar was dead in his passenger seat. He had been driving around with Mr Kumar dead next to him for hours before deciding to come to police.

"It was quickly established he had been responsible for the stabbing, and he will now serve time in prison to reflect that.”
