Libraries put on special display for Black History Month

Three borough libraries have created a themed book display to celebrate Black History Month.

Books by the likes of athlete Usain Bolt, popstar Beyonce and comic Lenny Henry are on special display in Kingswinford, Cradley and Stourbridge libraries. Councillor David Stanley, the Mayor of Dudley, said:

“The library displays celebrate the work of black cultural icons for both the younger and older generations.

“We live in a rich and diverse borough, and we are delighted to once again as a council support and celebrate Black History Month.”

Black History Month runs throughout October.
