A court’s heard how a man from Tipton admitted murdering his partner because he could not accept their relationship was over.

Barbara Baraniecka was found by her daughter covered in blood on her bed last November. She had been stabbed 13 times by Cezary Sobiewski.

A month before, she’d told him she wanted to end their relationship.

Sobiewski had moved to the UK from the US in 2010 to live with Ms Baraniecka in Tipton. The 40-year-old admitted murder at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
