Man taken to hospital and arrested after disorder in Brierley Hill

A man has been taken to hospital and will be quizzed by cops after two people were assaulted during a disorder in Dudley yesterday morning.

The 22-year-old was arrested in Brettell Lane just before 11am after an emergency call was made. He was taken to hospital and was then taken to custody for questioning. 

The unnamed man was also arrested for possession of cannabis. Speaking to BlackCountry Live, a West Midlands Police spokesman said:

"We were called to reports of disorder in Brettell Lane, Brierley Hill, just before 11am on Sunday. A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting two other people, who were not seriously injured, and possession of cannabis. 

"He has been taken to hospital for treatment before going into custody for questioning."
