Improvements to the bus station at intu Merry Hill will begin on Monday 16 January, and aim to deliver a modern, more accessible and welcoming facility.

Working in partnership with the West Midlands Combined Authority, the project will see new enclosed shelters being built along with covered walkways around the station and between each stand.

The improvements will also include real-time information boards, so visitors can keep up to date with exactly when their bus will be arriving as well as automatic doors that open on arrival when the bus approaches.

During the works the bus interchange will remain open but some stands will not be in use. The improvements are due to complete in late Spring 2017.
