Local girl, Rosie Attwood, has hit national headlines after she tweeted a video of her dog singing the soap theme!

Milo, a 4-year-old springer spaniel cross, happily 'sings' the famous theme from start to end every time it comes on the screen.

He's become somewhat of a hit with Weatherfield fanatics after the soap's official Twitter account retweeted the video.

Even Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle Connor, retweeted it to her 648,000 followers.

Rosie, 23 and from Halesowen, told the Daily Star: "I'm absolutely gobsmacked Milo's video went viral! Every time without fail he howls when he hears the theme tune from start to finish, the only TV show he does it for is Coronation Street! 

"Once he was lying next to me under a blanket and when the theme song started I could feel his breathing change. Then his head popped out of the blanket and he started to howl. When the tune finishes he just stops and goes back to sleep.

"I looked it up because at first I was worried that it was upsetting him, but I read that he is just singing!"
