Patients invited to share views on changes to treatment policies across Dudley

Patients and the public are being invited to attend the public engagement events to share their views on proposed changes to three health treatment policies in Dudley.

The policies that have been put forward for proposed changes include, those relating to sub-acromial pain in adults, image guided therapeutic intra-articular joint injections and image-guided high-volume intra-articular injections (40mls+) of saline with or without corticosteroid and/or local anaesthetic.

Dudley CCG is holding a number of public engagement events, to listen to local people to ensure their views influence and help shape the proposed changes. At the event, there will be opportunities to discuss and feedback on all the proposed policy changes.

The CCG wants to hear from as many people as possible, if you are unable to attend the events listed below, you can still complete the online survey.

You can feedback views on as many, or as few, policies as you wish. Paper copies of the survey are also available on request by calling: 0121 6110 611. The survey closes on Friday 11 October 2019.

Engagement events will be taking place in the following locations:

  • Monday 23 September (9:00am to 12:30pm) The Savoy Centre, Netherton
  • Monday 23 September (1:30pm to 5:00pm) Stephenson Square, Walsall
  • Wednesday 2 October (1:30pm to 5:00pm) The Workspace, Wolverhampton

To book your place, please register online before the event.

Dudley CCG is undertaking Phase 3 of the Harmonised Clinical Treatment Policy Project. This harmonised approach across Dudley is to facilitate consistent, evidence based policy development for planned patient care.
