Pictures of Mill Grange homes revealed

Dudley Council has released pictures from its Mere Road development in Norton, where 18 high-quality homes are being built as part of the authority’s multi-million pound private homes for sale project.

The private development homes are within a few minutes’ walk of Stourbridge town centre, Oldswinford and Mary Stevens Park and are close to excellent schools in the area. Of the 18 two, three and four bedroom homes, 14 are for private sale and four will be offered as an affordable option.

There has been significant interest from the public, with nine properties already reserved for sale. The Mill Grange show is open from today with viewing by appointment only. Alan Lunt, Deputy Chief Executive and strategic director for place, said:

"Dudley Council has taken the decision to build quality, value for money homes on pieces of disused land at our disposal. This enables us to provide much needed housing whilst creating a return on the investment, which can be put back into funding council services for the benefits of all residents.

"We are very excited to share the Mill Grange pictures with prospective buyers and am pleased that there has already been so much interest in them.”

Work is also underway to build 33 homes on the Castle Court development (site of the former St Thomas’ Network) in Dudley and 20 homes on the Red House Mews site (the former Amblecote House) on Brettell Lane, 13 of which are already reserved for sale. Eight homes were recently completed on the Wenlock Gate development, four have been sold and the others rented.

The Mill Grange and Red House Mews homes are being marketed by the Lee Shaw Partnership and the Castle Court homes via Billingham & Co’s Dudley office.
