Police charge suspects in Dudley stabbing

Police in Dudley have charged two people with murder after a 19-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Dudley earlier this week.

Harvey Waterfield, from Wednesbury, was found with a stab wound to his back in Spring Pool Meadow in Russells Hall just before 7pm on Monday 16 March.

Sadly, Harvey died at the scene, despite the best efforts of members of the public who rushed to his aid.

Connor Oakley, aged 18 from Spring Pool Meadow, and a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with murder and will appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court this morning.

A 20-year-old man and a boy, aged 15, who were arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on police bail.
