Police are investigating hoax bomb calls made to schools in Bristol to see if there are links to similar ones made in the Black Country.

Three schools in Sandwell were evacuated and lessons halted at Leasowes High school in Halesowen after the hoax calls were made on Tuesday.

Calls were made to four schools in the Bristol area during the same morning Avon and Somerset Police said. West Midlands Police said officers are working to see if the calls are connected.
