Police say school bomb scares "no credible threat".

Police say bomb scare calls made to six schools in the West Midlands on Tuesday morning are “no credible threat”.

Four London schools, six in the West Midlands and four in Cornwall were forced to get thousands of students out after receiving the threats - which police are treating as a hoax.

IN the West Midalnds, calls were made in quick succession at around 9am to four schools in Sandwell, one in Dudley and one in Quinton.

It follows similar phone threats to four schools in the Black Country last week that saw hundreds of pupils evacuated before police confirmed they were hoaxes.

A police investigation is underway to find the person responsible.
