Police seek information after serious collision

Police are appealing for information after a teenager was seriously hurt in a collision in Stourbridge on Saturday.

Officers were called to Hagley Road, Oldswinford just before 12.20am following reports of a blue Ford Focus in collision with a wall.

An 18-year-old woman was taken hospital and treated for injuries, her condition is described as serious but stable.

Officers are trying to establish the circumstances that led to the collision and would appeal to anyone that was in the area before or immediately after the collision to get in touch.

They are keen to speak to people who may have seen the blue focus and a silver Renault Clio travelling along the A491 Hagley Road towards Bromsgrove in the moments before the collision.

Anyone with information is urged to call Seargeant Chris Ridge from the CIU on 101. Alternatively people can leave information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers the independent charity on 0800 555 111.
