West Midland Safari Park is proud to announce that it will host two special recruitment days in January 2019, to source potential employees for the 2019 season.

The initial recruitment day will take place on Sunday 6 January, with a second date of Sunday 20 January, for those that cannot attend the first. Both events will start at 9:00am and will be held in one of the unique locations onsite.

A range of departments will be recruiting with a variety of roles in the following areas; Entertainment, Theme Park, Retail and Admissions, Games and Wristbands, Food and Beverages, Facilities and Safari Venues. During the day, candidates will be invited to explore the many opportunities on offer and speak to those who already work at the Park about their experience and what it's like to work there.

The day consists of two parts, with the first part of the day including an informal discussion to explore candidates’ skill sets, previous experience and qualifications. The Park’s team will then match these qualities to the role that suits and an interview with the relevant department will take place in the second half of the day. HR Officer, Scott Thomas, said:

“The start of every season is a very important time at the Park and this year we are excited to confirm that there will be two recruitment days to kickstart 2019. This will allow candidates to have more opportunity to attend on either of the dates.

“Recruitment days have been very successful in the past, as it allows candidates to explore a range of different roles and meet existing members of staff to help find their perfect fit. The day is set and delivered in a relaxed tone and gives a great insight into working at the Park.”
