Sam Allardyce to be named England manager

Dudley-born Sam Allardyce looks set to become the new England manager.

Sam grew up in Wrens Nest and played as a youth for Dudley Town before going on to be a professional player and Premier League manager.

The 61-year-old Sunderland boss, is hot favourite to fill the vacancy left when Roy Hodgson quit the national team after a dismal exit from Euro 2016.
