Stourbridge armed robber jailed

A Stourbridge armed robber who threatened shop staff with a machete has been jailed for five years and three months.

Drug addict Damien Hill was with an accomplice when he stole cash and cigarettes from a Costcutter. He waved the machete above his head and demanded staff open the till. 

35 year-old Hill of Vicars Walk, who had other robberies on his criminal record, admitted robbery and possessing the machete. The second man is still being hunted by police.
