Stourbridge bouncer killed man with single punch

A Stourbridge bouncer has been jailed for assaulting guests at a charity event in Oldbury, and punching one man dead with a single blow.

Nicolas Salhan was hired for the party in Samsons Banqueting Suite in November last year. But instead of keeping order, he and fellow doorman Jonathan Davies were shown on CCTV cameras lashing out at guests.

37-year-old Salhan – from Haybridge Avenue punched father-of-three Inderjit Dhariwal as he challenged Davies over his aggressive attitude.

Mr Dhariwal suffered a fatal head injury as he fell to the floor. Salhan admitted manslaughter, and was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison. Davies, of Old Bridge Walk, Rowley Regis, was jailed for two years and four months.
