Street Food Event At Stourbridge's Bonded Warehouse

The launch of a twilight street food event, is taking place in Stourbridge next month.

Foodies living in Stourbridge and Dudley no longer need to travel to satisfy their appetite for quality street food this summer. Sarah New, organiser of ‘Street Food Affair’ has been working with local vendors to bring a monthly street food experience to Stourbridge this summer.

Situated at the beautiful and historic Bonded Warehouse, the launch of this free twilight event is on Friday 2nd June between 5 and 9pm. ‘Street Food Affair’ will bring together talented chef’s, cooking a wide range of food from their own trucks including jerk chicken, gourmet burgers and vegan Thai. Mobile bars, one operating from a converted house box trailer, will offer cocktails, ales and a range of gin’s. Milkshakes and waffles served from a 50s themed van will satisfy those with a sweet tooth.

In addition visitors will be entertained by local buskers, can browse original artwork or walk away with a unique find from a mini flea market. Local organiser Sarah New said:

“Street Food Affair aims to bring people together to eat delicious food at a reasonable price. If people have not yet had the chance to experience street food, I’d encourage them to come along to our event”.

The event, wherever possible, aims to support local people and independent businesses. Bosses encourage any interested traders, musicians, artists or makers to get in touch via their website, at streetfoodaffair.co.uk to express an interest in being involved.
