Pop sensations, The Vamps, have been announced as this years headline act, joining Fleur East at the intu Merry Hill Christmas light switch on.

In an exclusive after-hours gig, The Vamps will kick-start the countdown to Christmas at the centre's big switch-on event on Saturday 18 November. The internationally acclaimed boy band, who've notched up five top ten singles, will headline the ticketed event with support from X Factor star, Fleur East. 

However the event will have a different setup to previous years, with 400 ticket-holders experiencing the unique gig, which will take place from 8pm.

Anyone who purchases £50 worth of intu Gift Cards at the centre from tomorrow will be entered into a prize draw to win one of 200 pairs of tickets, with winners drawn throughout October. Tickets will also be awarded to young heroes in the local area who deserve recognition for selfless acts, such as charity and community work.
