Third man charged over double killing

Detectives investigating a double killing after a cannabis farm raid in Brierley Hill have charged a third man with murder.

Sageer Mohammed was yesterday detained in connection with the crossbow killings in Pensnett Road, in February of this year.

The 33-year-old, of Gorsty Avenue, Brierley Hill, has now been charged with two counts of murder and remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (28 April).

Enquiries continue into the deaths of 19-year-old Khuzaimah Douglas and Waseem Ramzan, 36, during the early hours of 20 February.

This latest development comes as two other men, aged 23 and 46, were previously charged with murder and are in prison on remand. Detective Chief Inspector Jim Munro, from the force’s homicide team, said:

"This remains a very active investigation more than two months on from that fatal early morning.

"Two men sadly lost their lives and we believe there are still people out there who have information to tell us about what happened. Our enquiries have not finished here."

Another four men have been charged with conspiracy matters as part of the investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to message officers via Live Chat on the West Midlands Police website, or call 101.

Alternatively you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111; callers won’t be asked for their names and calls cannot be traced.
