'Treat Me Well Dudley' launches as part of Learning Disability Week

During Learning Disability week, which starts on Monday 18th June, Dudley Voices for Choice are launching the new local campaign as part of the national initiative led by Mencap.

It aims to transform how the NHS treats people with learning disabilities when they go to hospital and access health services. During the week Dudley Voices for Choice will be working with other organisations and charities including 'Lunch on the Run', 'Dudley Group of Hospitals', 'Mary Stevens Hospice' and 'The Unicorn Centre' to raise awareness of learning disability, train student nurses and promote the new campaign.

They will also be in the Health Hub at Russells Hall Hospital throughout the week with information.
