UK Ambulance Services stand firm with New Zealand counterparts

Delegates at the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives’ annual conference gathered together yesterday to show solidarity with their emergency services counterparts in New Zealand.

Delegates formed a human ‘NZ’ to show their support for their colleagues across the world, who responded to the deadly terrorist attack in Christchurch last week, as well as the families and friends of the victims. Anthony Marsh, Chief Executive of West Midlands Ambulance Service and Chair of the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives said:

“We are extremely proud of our colleagues in New Zealand and we wanted to do something highly visible to show our solidarity, express our gratitude to those who responded to this horrific event and send our love to them, as well as the families and friends of the victims.”
