Zoo Reminds Visitors That Christmas Deadline Is Looming

Dudley Zoo’s marketing team are busy coping with Christmas requests from animal-mad adopters and are urging purchasers not to miss out on Friday’s deadline.

Marketing Manager, Andrea Hales, said:

“Adoptions are always popular at this time of year as they make fantastic gifts for all ages. They last all year long and also raise funds towards towards DZG’s wildlife education, conservation and enrichment for some of the rarest creatures in the world.

“We have over 200 different species on site, who can all be adopted so there are plenty of animals to choose from. Just remember to get your orders in by this Friday 16th to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas.”

Adoption packages last 12 months and start from just £30 and adopters receive a certificate, personalised animal photo, gift card and zoo admission ticket.

Alternatively, you can treat someone to a 'Keeper for a Day' or 'Little Zoo Keeper' experience, or a close encounter with a favourite animal/

From £80 for a child and £195 for an adult, visitors shadow keepers as they go about their daily duties, getting a unique insight into the behind the scenes work of DZG, as well as getting close to some of the world’s rarest animals.

While close encounters, which are priced £95 for two people, give animal lovers the chance to get up close to their chosen species. Formore information, check the attractions website at dudleyzoo.org.uk.
