Glassboys keep play-off hopes alive

In football, Stourbridge came from behind to beat Skelmersdale 3-1 in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier to give their play-off hopes a boost.

But Halesowen lost 3-0 at Workington, while Tividale drew 1-1 at Rugby in the First Division South.

Kidderminster lost their 7th game in a row, 1-0 at home to Guiseley in the National League, and Lye were beaten 2-1 at home by Westfields in the Midland Football League.

In the West Midlands Premier, Cradley lost 3-1 at Haughmond, while Tipton were defeated 3-0 at home by Bromyard Town.

Black Country Rangers’ match with Dudley Town, and Dudley Sports’ game at Wellington Amateurs, were both postponed.

Finally in rugby, Stourbridge went down 29-18 at Preston Grasshoppers in National League Two North, while Old Halesonians won 32-15 at Sandbach in National League Three Midlands.

Dudley Kingswinford lost 28-17 at Bourneville in Midlands Division One West.
