A round-up of the weekend's local Black Country sporting action.
In football, Stourbridge are into the First Round Proper of the FA Trophy after coming from 2-1 down to beat Spennymoor 4-2 in the Third Qualifying Round.
Saturday’s Evo-Stik Northern Premier action saw Halesowen draw 0-0 at Rushall Olympic, while Tividale lost 5-2 at Carlton Town in the First Division South.
In the National League, Kidderminster were beaten 1-0 at Grimsby, while Lye’s Midland Football League match at Bardon Hill was postponed.
In the West Midlands Premier, Gornal won 3-0 at Bilston, Dudley Sports lost 4-3 at home to Stone Old Alleynians, and Dudley Town drew 2-2 with Wolverhampton Casuals.
Elsewhere, Black Country Rangers’ match against Tipton, as well as Cradley’s game at Wolverhampton Sporting Community, were called off due to the weather.
Finally in rugby, Stourbridge won 28-11 at Chester in National League 2 North, while Old Halesonians beat Lichfield 26-24 in National League 3 Midlands.
But Dudley Kingswinford lost 27-17 at Kenilworth in Midlands Division 1 West.
