16 year-old charged following Merry Hill attack

A 16 year-old boy has appeared before Dudley Magistrates charged with possession of an offensive weapon after a male was assaulted at intu Merry Hill on Saturday afternoon.

The teenager was seen being chased by another boy and was assisted by security staff after walked into Eat Central with facial injuries. He was taken to hospital and later discharged to recover at home. 

A 16 year-old male was arrested and found to be carrying two knives. He appeared before Dudley Magistrates yesterday and was remanded to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow.
