Appeal following fatal Dudley collision

Police are appealing for information following a fatal collision in Dudley town centre on Thursday 30 January.

James Reade was struck by a bus just before 4pm on Castle Street near to Fisher Street and was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Sadly, the 64-year-old passed away in the early hours of Sunday 2 February. His family are being supported by specialist officers. Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:

“I am asking anyone with information to contact us urgently.

“We are continuing to review CCTV footage and asking anyone who saw what happened to speak to us as it could prove to be vital for our investigation.”
