Arrest made after Stourbridge murder

We’ve made an arrest after a man was killed and another injured in Stourbridge last Friday.

It happened on Caslon Crescent at around 7.40pm where a 36-year-old man died from gunshot injuries.
 
Another man aged 26, was injured after being stabbed but has now been discharged from hospital. 
 
A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody. Detective Inspector Laura Harrison from our force CID, said:

“My thoughts are with the family and friends of these men. The arrest is a significant development as our investigation continues.
 
“I’d urge anyone with any information, who hasn’t already spoken to us, to get in touch as soon as possible.”
