Billy Spakemon and Tom Stanton have ben fundraising throughout the pandemic and have raised over £8,000 for the Georgina Unit at Russell's Hall Hospital.

Billy, who hosts the 'Omma and Chain Show' on Sunday afternoon, and Tom do a huge amount of community work at schools, libraries as well as working with local community groups and in the are sector.

Their fundraising efforts for 2020 centred around buying LED therapy lights for the Georgina Unit, which are used when individuals have their treatment. The pandemic has made raising funds difficult, however with support from Dudley Council, Black Country Radio, Halesowen BID and the local community, the duo have raised a remarkable £8,000.

In addition, Tom’s daughter, Anna, is seeking to run 100k in March in support of their fundraising efforts with all of the funds raised being added to the existing total. Anyone wishing to support Anna can donate on her Just Giving page.

In 2021 Billy and Tom will be out and about again, with the support of partners and community organisations, raising funds for Breast and Prostrate Cancer units.
